Your first step in the Men’s Fieldwork process. A short 15-minute, no-obligation conversation to clarify your goals, discuss counselling, and to meet me as your counsellor.
We will assess our comfort in working together and answer any questions you may have about the Fieldwork method.
Mens Fieldwork: Virtual
Individual Counselling
One-on-one sessions focused on gaining clarity, building insight, and creating momentum. These sessions lay the groundwork for the next stages of Mens Fieldwork, including group experiences and retreats.
Most men range between 3 to 8 individual sessions.
There is no expectation to move through the whole Fieldwork model. We simply begin and work where you are.
Mens Fieldwork Group (8-Weeks):
Virtual + In-Person Session
After individual work, clients have the option to continue into an 8-week closed men’s group. Groups are available through a screening process, typically after 4-5 individual sessions.
This is where the work deepens. Many men discover that this is where isolation begins to loosen and where men feel connected through the group.
A small group of men (6-8) meet weekly for 90-minutes to work on specific areas such as pressures, leadership, burnout, relationships, parenting, and identity - in real time.
Each session includes:
Focused weekly themes
Guided discussions
Practical integration
Groups are pre-screened and intentionally small to allow depth, honesty, and meaningful connections.
This is a virtual group with the final session held in-person.
This is not a drop-in group.
It is structured, contained, and purpose-driven.
Mens Field Retreat (In-Person)
A guided outdoor day designed as the final stage of the Mens Fieldwork process; offering space to reflect, integrate, and consolidate the work done in counselling and group.
Retreat is currently in development and will be announced in the near future.

The Fieldwork Process
STEP 1 - CONVERSATION
Schedule a free 15-minute call to briefly share what brings you here. We answer any questions about the process.
There is no pressure to continue - the goal is to see if the work feels like a good fit.
STEP 2 - INDIVIDUAL WORK (FIELD WORK)
Focused individual sessions working to clarify what you are facing and where to move forward.
The work is not open-ended, it is focused and intentional. Many men find progress within 3-8 sessions.
STEP 3 - INTEGRATION GROWTH (FIELD GROUP)
Invitation to continue into our 8-week integration group: cohorts run at specific periods throughout the year.
This is a closed group for those who wish to go deeper, designed for reflection, accountability, and integration.
STEP 4 - CONSOLIDATION (FIELD RETREAT)
A one-day nature retreat after completion of the 8-week group.
This day retreat serves as a consolidation for your wellness journey.
