About the Model.
About Me.
Many men carry pressures quietly alone.
The pressure to provide.
The pressure to lead.
The pressure to hold things together.
Over the last decade, I have seen how this pressure can turn into burnout, anxiety, addictions, relationship conflicts, or a quiet suffering - even when life may appear stable on the outside.
I have frequently noticed that many men often suffer alone or in silence - burying pressures, conflicts, and emotions. Many report very few male-specialized spaces where they can speak honestly and work towards change.
Men’s Fieldwork was created to address this gap. It is a connection-based therapeutic model, which uses individual counselling, group experiences, and in-person retreats to create connections and work towards lasting change. Through this connection-based approach, men develop the capacity to navigate responsibility, address stress, and tend to internal conflict.
What is the Mens Fieldwork Model?
Mens Fieldwork is a whole ecosystem which approaches individual wellness and change - for men - through a connection-based model:
Step 1: Initial free consultation is the bedrock that determines if the Fieldwork model matches your wants and needs.
Step 2: Individual Fieldwork is counselling. Usually completed within 3-8 sessions. It is like preparing healthy soil (the foundation) for whatever is to come.
Step 3: Group Fieldwork is the group experience where you integrate wellness through an 8-week closed men’s group. This is like a planting a seed and letting it take root.
Step 4: A day retreat for group members to consolidate the Fieldwork experience after the group, and recreate lasting impacts of change. This is where your plant continues to flourish in the natural environment.
There is no expectation or obligation to move through every part of the Fieldwork model. We simply begin and work where you are.
Some choose to continue into group or retreats, while others simply use a few sessions to gain clarity and direction. It is also ok to not know your level of commitment upfront.
My Approach
I am a Registered Social Worker offering counselling and group experiences across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
My work is structured, grounded, and practical. Most clients begin with a short-term focus of 3-8 sessions to build clarity and momentum.
My end goal is not counselling in itself, but to provide direction through a connection-based therapeutic model so you may experience a more connected and integrated life.
We reflect together on what’s happening.
We observe what’s repeating.
We choose what needs to shift.
And we work towards steady realistic change.
My goal is not to dissect you.
My goal is to help you find your strength so you may continue on your journey.
About Me
Moaz Choudhury
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. I have practiced in the field for the last 15 years.
My training spans several evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I work integratively - drawing from multiple therapeutic disciplines to create a structured process that fits each individual.
At the core of my work is a belief that growth requires both reflection and discipline. My life outside of clinical work mirrors this: I enjoy many hobbies including physical training, running, meditation, spirituality, learning Spanish and playing guitar. I am a husband and a father of 4, the cook of the house, and can relate fully to the daily demands of parenthood.
